Auckland Council is renewing three neighbourhood playgrounds in the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board area — Mervan Street Reserve, Purata Park and Kamaka Park. We want these spaces to reflect what local families and tamariki value most.
This survey gives children a chance to share their ideas about play, colour and fun, so their voices help shape the final playground designs.
Sort of!
Only the researchers from Gamechanger Surveys and Auckland Council staff working on this project will know who the responses have come from. When we share the data with the community, your name, email, and other personal details will not be shared.
We will update the AK Have Your Say page with the consultation results and final playground designs. You can also click Follow on the project page to get updates when new information is available.
We’d love to hear from people who live in the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board area. Anyone can complete the Gamechanger survey, but adults can also share more detailed feedback through the AK Have Your Say page.
